Testing Gear 360 Video on Stabyl Cam Rig

I recently purchased a handheld StabylCam, a stabilizer intended for smartphones or go-pros to test it out with 360 video. The desire is for stable 360 video that can be used in something like Real Estate tours with minimal investment, and without the need for a second person on site filming. This is ultimately a great way to do a walkthrough of a space because it gives the viewer a focal point, but also lets them look around freely and get a real sense for the size and layout of the apartment. The results are decent: the video is better than it would be with a selfie stick when I'm moving, but less stable than it would otherwise be when standing still. I am still learning the best way to hold the rig using my fingers to stabilize when standing still, and will do some additional scenes as my technique improves. I think this would be a better product if the weight could somehow double as a tripod or base so that it is multipurpose. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Here is the link to the product I'm testing: http://stayblcam.com/

However, a friend sent me a link to this cheaper product on amazon that looks comparable (affiliate link) http://amzn.to/2cbGazz
