First day snowboarding with the Feiyu G4 Gimbal and GoPro Hero4 Silver

This was the first day (last year) filming with my Feiyu G4 gimbal - http://amzn.to/2iHLfTJ
and GoPro Hero4 at Big White.

I had a quick look at the instructions for the gimbal, but I just basically put the GoPro in, and turned the gimbal and and tried to see how it would do.

The gimbal was straight out of the box, hadn't been calibrated or anything and did a pretty good job.

It handled the cold weather better than I expected, and even though it cam with two sets of batteries, the one set lasted the whole time we were out filming, which I was pretty happy with seeing that it was about -10 or 11c, and you could definitely feel the cold in the metal handle of the gimbal.

It didn't take us long to get used to using the gimbal, and especially timing the panning to keep whoever was riding in the shot.

I bought the Feiyu G4 and although there are a whole lot more options from other brands, I can't complain with how this one works, especially for $250.

The GoPro was recording in 1080 at 60 or 30fps.
