Karaikudi land of chettiars is famous for food as well for arhitectural brilliance.about 100 to 150 years back chettiars called nagarathars lived there and the bungalows and palces built about a century back is amazing with the kind of architectural knowleadge they had even befor computer era and even building materials were imported from countries like japan and italy.
