Is your practice swing always better than your actual golf swing? We wanted to test out a round of 9 holes WITHOUT taking any practice swings, and find out if our scores improve by eliminating the practice swing!

We are always looking to improve our golf game, and we wanted to test if our scores improve by not doing any practice swings before we actually swing. We know golf is a mental game, and sometimes that practice swing can get in your head. You start to think about your swing too much, instead of just naturally swinging the club.

On top of eliminating the mental part of the practice swing, slow pace of play in golf is touchy subject in golf. Many people are annoyed by groups that play super slow, especially when you see someone take 90+ seconds with practice swings, just to duff it 30 yards. Eliminating the practice swing can also improve pace of play, and make your playing partners happier, as well as the group behind you.
