Waves SSL G-Master Buss Compressor is a faithful emulation of the daddy of all hardware bus compressors first introduced in the legendary SL4000 console which was the first mixing desk to incorporate dynamics processing in every channel including the master section in the console’s centre section.

Known for it’s simplicity, sonic grace and character, SSL’s bus compressor is and will always be one of audio production’s great legends.

The best thing about this particular emulation, which was developed under license from Solid State Logic themselves, is that you don’t really need to think too hard about what you are doing with it, as long as you don’t go over the top with the squeeze, this will easily get you where you need to be quickly.
