*The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) has announced important updates regarding MDCAT 2025*

✅ For NUMS or PMDC MDCAT 2025 Books and On-line Preparation Classes:-

- *Exam Date* _The MDCAT will be conducted in *end of September 2025*_

(PMDC) will prepare the question bank for all province. Additionally, the admitting universities will collaborate with PMDC to conduct the MDCAT 2025

- *Reduced MCQs* _The total number of questions has been decreased from *200 to 180*._

- *Provisional MDCAT* _A provisional MDCAT may also be held (further details to be announced)._

- *Exam Format* _This year, the test will be *paper-based*_

- *Duration* _Candidates will have *3 hours* to complete the 180 MCQs._

_- *New Syllabus* A revised syllabus will be introduced and is expected to be uploaded by the *end of May 2025*._

- *Registration*
_The MDCAT registration portal will open by the *end of July 2025*._
_Registration will require the *candidate’s CNIC/B-Form number* (father’s CNIC will not be used)._

~ Total duration of paper will be 3 hours instead of 3.5 hours

~ passing marks will be 55% for mbbs and 50% for BDS
