How to enable FSR 4.1.0 for RDNA3 in Alan Wake 2 (Linux)

Alan Wake 2, played in Linux, tested with FSR v4.1.0 and Frame Generation on an RDNA3 GPU through Optiscaler_0.9.0-pre10-RC3.

What you need to have and do to run the game in this way:

Heroic Games Launcher
In winecfg: Set Windows Version to Windows 11

ENVs:

PROTON_FSR4_RDNA3_UPGRADE=1
PROTON_FSR4_INDICATOR=1 (only if you need the watermark to confirm the FSR version in use)
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amdxcffx64=n,b"

If you are on RDNA2 or you just prefer FSR INT8 4.0.2:

1. Don't add amdxcffx64.dll in the game's directory
2. Don't use PROTON_FSR4_RDNA3_UPGRADE=1, PROTON_FSR4_INDICATOR=1, and WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amdxcffx64=n,b"
3. Download the FSR 4 INT8 DLL: https://gofile.io/d/fiyGuj
4. Copy the INT8 DLL over the amd_fidelityfx_upscaler_dx12.dll file that comes with Optiscaler
