Unlock the power of TestCase recording in Tricentis Tosca! This feature allows you to capture your test executions, review them in action, and identify areas for improvement.

✨ Key Features:

1. Visual Review: Watch how Tosca navigates your tests and uncover areas for enhancement.

2. Early Access: Note that TestCase recording is an early access feature still under development.

How to Use TestCase Recording:

Understand Recording:
- Tosca creates one recording per TestCase in .mp4 format.
- Captures executions via ScratchBook and ExecutionList.
- Records the entire screen of the machine executing your tests.
- The recorder starts when the TestCase runs, so add a brief wait time at the start if needed.

Enable Recordings:
- Modify settings on every machine that should record executions.
- Go to Project-Settings-TBox-Execution recorder.
- Enable recording and choose to keep recordings of all executions or only failed ones.
-Optionally, modify Output Path and Output Filename Template settings.

Exclude Individual TestCases:
Create a test configuration parameter (TCP) with the name AvoidExecutionRecorder and the value True.
Apply the TCP to individual TestCases or folders to exclude them from recording.

View Your Recordings:
After the test run, recordings are saved in .mp4 format to the specified folder.
Tosca adds a suffix (_successful or _failed) to the recording name based on the execution result.
Double-click a recording to watch it.
