Interview City: Judi Love on Comedy and the Politically Incorrect
Watch the full interview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaWyEfx2IIw
If you’ve seen Judi Love perform or seen any of her gone viral videos, you’ll recognize her as one of Britain’s brightest comics. If you haven’t, well….that might be part of the problem. In this recent visit to the City Judi talks to the writer and cultural commentator Paul Morley about her family, the shock of visiting Jamaica for the first time, that Wakanda video, and the particular challenges of being a Black British comedienne. And quite a lot more, in an interview that is both serious and seriously funny. Tune in and catch a rising star.

Unfamiliar stories, trenchant opinion, and missing perspectives. That’s what we’re all about in Interview City. Welcomed to the City will be a series of individuals that we know, like and admire. Those who have accomplished things and have something to say about both the current and former state of play. We’ll have ruminations, digressions, revelations and provocations, all teased out by the City’s own writer in residence, the cultural commentator and provocateur Paul Morley.
