Day 8 Great Guitar Build Off 2020 unofficial challenge - build from scratch

In this video; final sanding the body and neck, fitting and dressing the frets, making a levelling beam for fret work, first coats of finishing oil and problems with Olive dust. I also give you my thoughts about Ben's at Crimson Guitars idea for a new charity. My guitar entry for the GGBO 2020 will be auctioned at the end of the competition for charity, more details will follow in the next videos.

Sound track

Composing and recording music is my passion so it is important that my guitars sound great, have a range of tones and are nice to play. I have produced and recorded all the music in my videos using either Cubase Pro or Cubasis 2 on the iPad. Most of the tracks will include one of my travel/compact guitars.

Another mixed bag of tracks this time.

Backing track 1: New Day - one of my more rockier pieces recorded at home on Cubase with my hand built lead and long neck bass guitars. I love the way this track bursts into the synth lead section.

Backing Track/video clip 2 : Sunset at the Gower recorded with my 2nd prototype travel guitar using the piezo pickup on location in Wales.
