#39 Master Hai Tao 海涛法师《大悲咒功德利益》

觀世音菩薩言：「大慈悲心是平等心、是無為心、是無染著心、是空觀心、是恭敬心、是卑下心、是無雜亂心、是無見取心、是無上菩提心、是當知如是等心即是陀羅尼相貌。」

壹、觀世音菩薩大悲咒的因緣

1、為諸眾生得安樂故。 2、除一切病故。

3、得壽命故。 4、得富饒故。

5、滅除一切惡業重罪故。 6、離障難故。

7、增長一切白法諸功德故。 8、成就一切諸善根故。

9、遠雜一切諸怖畏故。 10、速能滿足一切諸希求故。

貳、誦持大悲咒的功德利益

1、臨命終時十方諸佛皆來授手。

2、欲生何等佛土，隨願皆得往生。

3、不墮三惡道。

4、能生諸佛國。

5、得無量三昧辯才。

6、誦持大悲神咒者，於現在生中一切所求若不果遂者，不得為大悲心陀羅尼也，唯除不善、除不至誠。

7、若諸女人厭賤女身欲成男子身，誦持大悲陀羅尼章句，若不轉女身成男子身者，我誓不成正覺，生少疑心者，必不果遂也。

8、若諸眾生侵損常住飲食財物，千佛出世不通懺悔，縱懺亦不除滅，今誦大悲神咒即得除滅。

（1）若侵損、食用常住飲食、財物，要對十方師懺謝，然始除滅。

（2）今誦大悲陀羅尼時，十方師即來為作證明，一切罪障悉皆消滅，一切十惡、五逆、謗人、謗法、破齋、破戒、破塔、壞寺、偷僧衹物、污淨梵行，如是等一切惡業重罪，悉皆滅盡。

（3）唯除一事，於咒生疑者，乃至小罪輕業亦不得滅，何況重罪；雖不即滅重罪，猶能遠作菩提之因。

9、若諸人天誦持大悲心咒者，不受十五種惡死也。其惡死者：

（1）不令其飢餓困苦死。 （2）不為枷禁杖楚死。

（3）不為怨家讎對死。 （4）不為軍陣相殺死。

（5）不為豺狼惡獸殘害死。 （6）不為毒蛇蚖蠍所中死。

（7）不為水火焚漂死。 （8）不為毒藥所中死。

（9）不為蠱毒害死。 （10）不為狂亂失念死。

（11）不為山樹崖岸墜落死。 （12）不為惡人厭魅死。

（13）不為邪神惡鬼得便死。 （14）不為惡病纏身死。

（15）不為非分自害死。

10、誦持大悲神咒者，得十五種善生者：

（1）所生之處常逢善王。 （2）常生善國。

（3）常值好時。 （4）常逢善友。

（5）身根常得具足。 （6）道心純熟。

（7）不犯禁戒。 （8）所有眷屬恩義和順。

（9）資具財食常得豐足。 （10）恒得他人恭敬扶接。

（11）所有財寶無他劫奪。 （12）意欲所求皆悉稱遂。

（13）龍天善神恒常擁衛。 （14）所生之處見佛聞法。

（15）所聞正法悟甚深義。

※若有誦持大悲心陀羅尼者，得如是等十五種善生也，一切天人應常誦持勿生懈怠。
Those who recite and hold the spiritual Mantra of Great Compassion will not suffer any of these fifteen kinds of bad death and will obtain the following fifteen kinds of good birth:

Their place of birth will always have a good king.
They will always be born in a good country.
They will always be born at a good time.
They will always meet good friends.
The organs of their body will always be complete.
Their heart will be pure and full in the way.
They will not violate the prohibitive precepts.
Their family will be kind and harmonious.
They will always have the necessary wealth and goods in abundance.
They will always obtain the respect and help of others.
Their riches will not be plundered.
They will obtain everything they seek.
Dragons, gods, and good spirits will always protect them.
In the place where they are born they will see the Buddha and hear the Dharma.
They will awaken to the profound meaning of that Proper Dharma which they hear.

Those who recite and hold the Great Compassion Mantra will obtain these fifteen kinds of good birth. All gods and people should constantly recite and hold it, without carelessness.
