R Clayton McWhorter at Keokuk 5-5-25

R Clayton McWhorter was downbound at Lock 19 on May 5, 2025, entering the lock when along comes helper tow Sir Larry J! Sir Larry J ended up in the lock with R Clayton McWhorter and each vessel ended up going through the lock downbound. Then as R Clayton McWhorter was exiting the lock, a nice crew member came out to wave to the camera! Later on, Sir Larry J would head back up the Mississippi River and went through the lock with another towboat so they could head back to their usual area by the power plant, where they usually assist downbound tows enter Lock 19 because of the current on the river by the power plant.
