The Wife Who Knew Too Much: The Brutal Murders of Martha Agnew and Tammy Niver

On a cold Saturday afternoon in Ypsilanti, Michigan police responded to a home where a 49 year-old woman had been found deceased in her bed. What they found inside the house was a sad and perplexing scene.

A grandmother due to collect one of her grandchildren for a visit that morning was instead dead of an apparent overdose.

It quickly became clear that there was more to this story than meets the eye. Hadn’t a detective just visited with the victim? She was a key witness in a 25 year old cold case; the disappearance of a good friend.

Detectives believed that she knew something that could, finally, convict the killer. Except now, they found that she too, had been silenced.
