How to Create a Gradient Background for a Website in Canva

In this video, I'll show you how to create a custom gradient background for your website in Canva.

Step 1:
Begin by clicking on an empty space within your design. This will open the background properties panel on the left.

Step 2:
In the panel, click on the color option (the colored square).

Step 3:
You will see a selection of default gradient colors. Click on any of these to apply it instantly to your background.

Step 4:
To create a custom gradient, click the 'Add a new color' button (the plus '+' icon) at the bottom of the color panel.

Step 5:
In the gradient editor, you can:
- Click on each color stop to change its hue.
- Use the plus '+' sign on the slider to add more color stops for complex gradients.

Step 6:
After setting your colors, choose a gradient style (like linear, radial, or angular) to finalize the look for your website background.
