After the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her son, Versha was consumed by sorrow until a memory of his final words gave her a purpose:
“Follow your passion, Ma.”
With nothing but heart and handmade envelopes, she began again. Starting with a local shop to sell the envelops, she found, Ashmeen Munjal who became the first bulk order client “Jitna stock mein hai, bhej do” level!! Later, Ashmeen named the venture and believed in her when few did.
Versha found strength in every small miracle, remembering how orders always arrive when the schools needed funding the most.
She didn’t walk this path alone. Her daughter Vani, adopted as a 2-month-old after a family tragedy, grew into a pillar. She helped Versha with printing, operations, and growing the vision. In a deeply moving chapter of their lives, Versha, her husband and Vipin Suree helped Vani reconnect with her birth mother and sister after 28 years- a journey across borders, filled with emotion and healing.
Versha also turned her skills in knitting, learnt from her mother-in-law and chachi-in-law, into another avenue of empowerment, teaching underprivileged women to earn and live with dignity.
