Does your web developer make your life EASIER? They should!

One of my BIGGEST pet peeves, don't fall for it!

I recently had a client tell me her current developer told her that if she wanted to update any text on her website, she needed to pay him to do it.

Then she hired me to make her company a brand new website, mostly due to the fact that she was frustrated at the lack of access her developer would give her.

A GOOD web developer will code in such a way that allows for the client to edit and update their website as needed. Anything complicated or requiring coding, of course, will be left to the developer. But basic edits should not be gatekept.

I make videos and documentation for all my clients, walking them through their website and how to edit things, because they should be able to take the reins if needed/desired.
