Energy Minister: Mega Energy Projects Coming

Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, Stuart Young, says there are several large energy projects on the horizon for Trinidad and Tobago.

The Minister notes a major boost will be given to natural gas production with the implementation of several new upstream undertakings.

He listed the increased prices of oil, gas, ammonia and methanol from on the international markets from 2020 to 2022.

The Energy Minister gave the feature address at the opening ceremony of the Geological Society of Trinidad and Tobago's Conference at the Hyatt Regency on Monday. The Conference will run for three days.
