45RPM: Genesis & Evolution of a Record Speed

In this video we explore the birth of 7 inch 45 RPM records with RCA and the life of this format as singles played on record changers and jukeboxes all the way to the final stage of its evolution in a 12 inch lp of high fidelity!

P.S. Just to make things more clear:
At 1:32 I claim that the name Long Play (LP) and Extended Play (EP) is a consequence of singles. Obviously I meant the concept of single (a single song as an SP as opposed to multiple songs as an Lp and EP), which of course were issued FIRST in 78RPM, also known as Standard Play (SP), and then in 45RPM.
