Is this the best thing I've ever made?

I've been wood turning a little while now, but I've been reluctant to use rare or expensive wood until I was sure my skills were good enough for a project that I really couldn't screw up. I finally went for it and turned this vase out of a manzanita burl and epoxy resin.

It was a struggle to create a nicely shaped vase without losing too much of the amazing wood, but in the end I think I found a nice balance of the beautiful burl grain and some pretty cool colored resin!
