Fire Basic Recruit Course Class 2019-04 Reception Rites

After 23 years, the basic training for firemanship is back in Davao now called as Fire Basic Recruit Course (FBRC). Each BFP recruit has to complete 640 hours of rigorous training that includes life-saving skills. Some of which are advanced firefighting, medical first responder, hazardous material response, water search & rescue, incident command system, mountain search & rescue and high angle rescue. The FBRC curriculum is also designed to equip every recruit to be abreast of fire code enforcement and other safety laws, revised penal code provision on the law of arson, courtesy and discipline and other academic challenges.
