Exposing China’s DISTURBING “Re-Education” Program

China, Education Camps, Organs

“Do you love China? YES! Do you want China to be strong? YES! Do you want China to be united? YES!”

These are the slogans and callbacks that Vice News reporter Isobel Yeung heard and saw through the fence of a kindergarten in Xinjiang Province, China, in 2019. One of the people that secretly spoke to her on the street was a small boy who told her that most of the children in that kindergarten and the elementary schools around it were without their parents. The children and there were hundreds of them in just one kindergarten in a small city, lived at the school because, as the child told Vice News: “They are children whose parents have gone for “re-education.”

No one is sure when and if they will ever return, and if they do if they will be allowed to regain custody of their children. This is the reality for many in what China calls “The Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.”
