Salamandra Mage got an explicit buff, as well as a secret buff with the new patch. The main buff was the the adrenaline condition changing. Rather than needing Adrenaline 5 to gain a coin for each tribute, it just always gives a coin. Instead, if you're on adrenaline 5, this gives 2 coins per tribute. Even just that buff alone is significant, but the card got some secret patching as well. Last season, if Off the Books was used to reduce the cost of a tribute to 0, it wouldn't count as "paying a tribute" for Salamandra Mage. This changed with the new update though, so 0 cost Renegade Mages, or Salamandra Abominations trigger your Salamandra Mage.
The raw rate on Salamandra Mage isn't bad, and the engine value as well is pretty incredible if you play enough tribute units.
The rest of the buffs aren't quite as exciting. Another secret patch note is now Luiza works with Fallen Rayla (though Fallen Rayla does not play nice with Off the Books.)
There's probably better ways to build this deck, but this was my starting point immediately after the patch hit. The list below isn't one of the lists from the video, but it would be the next thing I'd try.
