Photographing the Large Magellanic Cloud at 3 Different Focal Lengths
An amazing 3 night trip just 1.5 hours outside of Sydney. In this adventure I have an attempted milky way panorama that didn’t go to plan as well as capturing the Large Magellanic Cloud at 3 different focal lengths.
- 14mm: A great timelapse and star trail image
- 50mm: The Entire Large Magellanic Cloud
- 343mm: The Famous Tarantula Nebula and Surrounds
This was a super fun goal for the weekend that I’d say worked out very well! Didn't use the HEQ5 Pro in the end as the SA Pro did the job just fine.
