Patricio Bernal, IUCN GOBI Coordinator interview: Rio Conventions Pavilion, CBD COP11, 10/10/2012 -- Patricio Bernal coordinator of the IUCN's Global Ocean Biodiversity Initiative (GOBI) tells Rio Pavilion TV about a new "health assessment" for the world's oceans due in 2013. He says the open seas are hard to manage because of a lack of accountability. He hopes that the new report will inform policy makers and enable them to make the right decisions to boost the health of the world's oceans.
