RV Repair: RV Door Latch and Lock Replacement If you are Locked out.

Did you get locked out of your RV? This is a scary situation and you need to watch this video to know how to get out of your RV. The process is to take the screws out of the handle from the inside of the coach. Then you can get the handle off.

In this RV Repair Video, I am replacing the Door Latch and Lock System on my Recreation Vehicle. The replacement process is pretty simple but you do need a few basic tools.

This is the link to the door lock I bought. NOTE it does have a steel plunger so I hope it will last longer than the previous one.

One tricky part of this install was cutting off two little tabs on the upper door lock. They were in the way of the door frame.
