How long have you been dreaming of moving abroad?

I remember back in 2015 when I got the “crazy” idea to move to Madrid in my mid 30s. I had a good life in Austin, Texas. Job, home, car, dog, etc… but something felt like it was missing. I dreamed of moving abroad but it kinda felt like that ship had sailed. I was too old to do it…and anyways what would I do? Teach English forever??Fast-forward almost 8 years later and I can’t thank myself enough for taking the leap, taking the risk…to leave a good life for something greater.
