This Gameoverse Character Is Inspired By Metal Sonic?!

Did you notice this in Gameoverse? The Pilot for the newest Glitch show Gameoverse dropped a few days ago and within the pilot we got to see a character called Malice. She seems to be the evil counterpart to kit, having a robotic cat-like body. Well her design and character reminded me of Metal Sonic from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. They are both robotic counterparts of the protagonist, and they are both sent to kill the protagonist at all costs. There are even similarities in design like the crater in the chest area. Considering Kit’s favourite food is mustard covered hotdogs similar to how Sonic likes chilidogs, I think it’s safe to say that this inspiration was on purpose. What do you think though?
