Star Wars: First Assault (Xbox 360) Tech Beta Online Gameplay

A few people in the SW gaming community have been hard at work, bringing working online multiplayer to a cancelled Star Wars game that never saw the light of day.

First Assault was a gritty first person shooter being developed by LucasArts in 2012. Unlike the battlefront series, this was to be more like COD, featuring only trooper gameplay on small scale maps and a greater focus on loadout customization.

The game was going to get a public beta featuring a single map and premade loadouts. However, Disney bought SW, ultimately cancelling both the beta and the game as a whole.

The beta build leaked online but as it was a multiplayer only beta, there wasn't really much we could do with it... until now.

Footage was recorded on March 7th 2026, during the 2nd public testing event held by the SWFA discord.
