No Cops Charged Directly in Breonna Taylor's Shooting Death
One of the three officers involved in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor has been indicted on criminal charges, a grand jury in Kentucky decided Wednesday. Former detective Brett Hankison was indicted on three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, charges which stem from shooting into neighboring apartments the night that Taylor, a 26-year-old EMT, was shot in her home in Louisville on March 13. No one has been charged in her death. Protests are expected to follow the indictment.
