Psychiatry wasn't kind to my mental health. Ironic as it sounds, I was struggling with burnout during this rotation which made it difficult to stay motivated to take care of myself. I was letting go of habits and routines that I cared about. But near the end of the block, a patient encounter helped me find my center again. Join me on a day in the life of a medical student!
