Bloodbath by Riot (Extreme Demon) - Geometry Dash

What an amazing level, I don't think I could've had a better time playing the game. To be honest, I've forgotten most of my memories with this level. I do have vivid memories of watching Riot trying to verify this live on Twitch to hundreds of viewers, and it was the most views any GD stream had back then. I remember no one was even close to being as good as Riot during that time, the level wasn't even beaten by anyone else until 7 months after the level was verified. It was cool seeing Quasar and Surv race, and I'll never forget the Etzer 79% meme. Anyways, here's my corny comment when the verification video was uploaded ( https://prnt.sc/XgMbQW0XEhy8 ).

This is my biggest jump in a while, I was getting too busy with studies to beat multiple extreme demons of gradually harder difficulties after Red World Rebirth. I decided I may as well just invest the time instead into a single harder level, so that I can play it on and off whenever I have free time. After beating 16 extremes already, I figured Bloodbath wouldn't be too bothersome. I realised most people beat Bloodbath as their 5th extreme or something.

I didn't attempt from zero until this January, I started off with 3554 old attempts. I overpractised the second half of the level so much, I just really didn't feel like dying there. I guess it paid off because I only died past 50% 7 times. My 3 deaths in the 90s were really stressful, I would lose my muscle memory for a while because of the nerves. It was still a riveting experience nonetheless. I found the parts by Weo and Michigun the most difficult, followed closely by Vermillion's ship part. I guess this naturally comes from not practising these parts as much as the second half of the level. Crack's ship is really fun to use to develop ship skill, I was initially so bad at it. I think I practised Etzer's part the most by far, and I really tried discovering all the ways to die past that lol. I probably wouldn't have enjoyed this level as much if I didn't practise the living hell out of these parts.

I guess my absolute main objective for this game has been done, I’ve always wanted to beat such a legendary level that seemed impossible for me for almost 8 years. I'll most likely still go for new hardests, but possibly not soon. I can finally mark Bloodbath completion as done in my GD career checklist. GG! :)
