Basom Tso Lake: the Last Highlight of My Last 400km to Lhasa

I’m going to show you the last day of my G318 Chengdu to Lhasa overland journey.

In the morning, I took a short trip to Basom Tso Lake. I can show you both inside and outside of the ancient Monastery with the meditation cave of Master Padmasambhava used in the 8th century. And I also did a kora around the island to enjoy the beautiful turquoise holy lake from all the side.

Then, I finished the last 400 kilometers to Lhasa, which took 5 hours by car.

It’s time to see how Lhasa city really is! You cannot imagine how modern my hometown is.
