ଆସୁଛି ଲଘୁଚାପ, ସକ୍ରିୟ ହେବ ମୌସୁମୀ। ବଢିବ ବର୍ଷା ର ବିସ୍ତୃତି।୨୨ ରୁ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ କ୍ରମଶଃ ମୌସୁମୀ ବର୍ଷା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବ। ଫଳରେ ଜୁନ୍ ଶେଷ ଯାଏଁ ଭଲ ବର୍ଷା ନେଇ ଆକଳନ ହେଉଚି। ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ୧୨ ତାରିଖରୁ ମୌସୁମୀ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିଚି, ହେଲେ ବର୍ଷା ର ନାହିଁ ଦେଖା। ମୌସୁମୀ ଆଗକୁ ବି ବଢୁଛି ହେଲେ ବର୍ଷା ହେଉନାହିଁ। ଆଗାମୀ ୩ ଦିନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମୌସୁମୀ ସାରା ଓଡ଼ିଶା କୁ କବଳିତ କରିବ। ହେଲେ ବର୍ଷା କେବେ ହେବ ତାକୁ ନେଇ ବଢୁଛି ଚିନ୍ତା। ପାଣିପାଗ ମଡେଲ ଓ ବିଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଙ୍କ ଆକଳନ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୨ ବେଳକୁ ପୂର୍ବ ଉପକୂଳ ରେ ମୌସୁମୀ ବାୟୁ ସକ୍ରିୟ ହେବ। ଫଳରେ ବର୍ଷା ର ପରିମାଣ କ୍ରମଶଃ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବ । ରୂପରେ ୨୫ ବେଳକୁ ଏକ ଲଘୁଚାପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ।

Good news for Odisha as a fresh low-pressure area (ଲଘୁଚାପ) is expected to form over the Bay of Bengal around June 25, which will make the monsoon currents highly active. According to weather models and scientists, monsoon rain will gradually expand and intensify across the state from June 22, promising good rainfall till the end of the month. Although Southwest Monsoon entered Odisha on June 12 and is advancing to cover the entire state in the next 3 days, actual rainfall has been scanty so far, raising concerns. However, in the next 24 hours, pre-monsoon Kalabaishakhi activities will bring relief, for which IMD has issued an Orange Alert for 12 districts and a Yellow Alert for the rest of Odisha.
