Uber Zero Emissions | Uber Electric | #shorts

Hey Explorers! Let's chat about Uber Electric today! Uber sent out an email a few weeks ago sharing their initiative to reach zero emissions. Within this initiative, they are giving their customers ways to request electric vehicles within the Uber app. This will allow for not only Uber to reach zero emissions but also allow customers to travel sustainably. Read more below!

P.S. I love seeing more and more companies working towards doing better for the planet which in turn is better for us.

When I went to request an Uber a few days later, I was able to request an electric vehicle which came in the same fashion as any other vehicle. But I what I have noticed (which will take some time to adapt and grow):

⭐️ I usually can’t find one early in the morning or later in the evening

⭐️ I’m in Atlanta and a lot of people have electric vehicles which appears to keep growing. But some markets don’t have that option.

⭐️ It did cost 💲 a few dollars more which can make or break some people. But it wasn’t a drastic cost increase considering what the purpose of it is.
