What's going on here? Is there trouble in paradise? Or is it simply scheduling conflicts, given the fall production start? Either way, director Shawn Levy has his work cut out for him to fill these roles before cameras roll in just a few months.
On the upside, Gosling himself seems thrilled with the project, calling the script, "So good with such a great story, with great and original characters." Sounds good, but what else is he going to say as he is single-handedly carrying this new movie? Either way, the casting hiccups, this standalone adventure set 5 years after The Rise of Skywalker is definitely something to keep an eye on. And with how incredible the latest Star Wars Disney+ show, Andor, was, the new follow-up movie definitely needs to be spot on.
