In this Minecraft Short, I tried an alternative strategy for winter survival, shifting from building upwards to a 'diggy diggy hole' approach. It turned into a funny games session as I dug down, encountered mobs, and eventually found bread. This excavator method was quite the hole game!
Most players build up with blocks to kill an Iron Golem in Minecraft… but that’s actually slower and riskier.

Instead, dig down 3–4 blocks so the Iron Golem can’t hit you — and you can safely attack it from below. No tower. No panic. Just easy iron.

This works perfectly in early survival when you find a village and need quick iron gear fast.

Try this method before you build up again.
