MNQM is trading around 30,130, down from recent highs and sitting in the middle of a key range ahead of today’s 2:00 PM ET Federal Reserve rate decision and press conference. Markets are overwhelmingly expecting rates to remain unchanged, but the Fed statement and comments could create significant volatility in Nasdaq futures this afternoon.

Key MNQ Levels

Support
30,050 – first support
29,950 – stronger support and potential bounce area
29,800 – major support if sellers take control

Resistance
30,250 – first resistance
30,350 – overnight target zone
30,500 – major breakout level

Trade Ideas

Conservative Long
Look for a test of 30,000–30,050
Initial target: 30,200
Extended target: 30,300

Aggressive Long
If price flushes into 29,900–29,950 and stabilizes near VWAP or your 2nd deviation band, look for a bounce back toward 30,150–30,250

Short Setup
If MNQ rejects 30,250–30,350, a pullback toward 30,100 is possible.

Risk Note
Today is a Fed day. Even if your VWAP mean-reversion setup works well most days, be cautious after noon ET. Fed announcements can push MNQ several hundred points in minutes and can overwhelm normal statistical levels.
