Downspouts and French Drain to Storm Sewer - Old Bridge, NJ. 08857

On this job we are going to install a drainage system and core and tap a city storm sewer catch basin.

This customer has a very wet back yard. The water table is high and their backyard is completely saturated. This was a challenge because of how wet it was and they have very limited access because of the patio and mature landscaping.

We tried to work low impact by taking up the sod and working on plywood, but the yard was just too water logged. The previous owner tried to fix the drainage problems, but it’s not working. We’re going to pick up all the backyard downspouts and the sump pump discharge. We will also install a French drain with catch basins and tie that into the city storm sewer.
