VHS footage from Somerdale Boys School Belfast, from the mid 1960s to mid 1980s

The school served the working class Protestant community of the greater Shankill area, in one of the worst hit areas of the Troubles.

The school merged with Everton Girls School to become Forthriver High, before closing in the 1990s.

The video finishes with the tail end of some Ulster Television programme from the 1980s
