Pakistan records Current account surplus after 14 years #crypto

For the first time in 14 years, Pakistan has achieved a current account surplus, marking a significant milestone in the country’s economic journey. According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the surplus for the last fiscal year stands at $2.1 billion, compared to a $214 million surplus recorded back in 2010–2011.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude and credited the government’s effective economic policies for this achievement. He highlighted that foreign exchange reserves have now crossed $19 billion, and the positive economic indicators show that Pakistan is moving towards long-term financial stability.
