TOPIC OF THIS VIDEO:
How performs the DJI Osmo Action in a real shooting day? Which camera (the DJI Osmo Action or the GoPro Hero 7) starts faster? Which camera is better for vlog, action or slow motion shots? Which camera takes pictures faster? These are some of the questions I am going to answer in this video.

I am going to address important points on both cameras in a chronological order of a shooting day:

1. Starting Speed
Starting speed is important for certain shots because a moment never lasts forever. The faster your camera starts, the more likely you are going to get your shot in time.

2. Set up
Setting up the DJI Osmo Action and the GoPro Hero 7 is pretty easy and they also have pretty similar settings. Therefore I am going to run over this point pretty quickly in the video.

3. Filming styles
Action cameras like the DJI Osmo Action and the GoPro Hero 7 can nowadays be used for a bunch of different filming styles. The DJI Osmo Action and the GoPro Hero 7 are both great for vlogging. The audio sounds clean and loud and the image stabilization is just great. Also, with the possibility to film with a wider field of view you are always going to be in frame in your vlogs. The DJI Osmo Action has the big advantage of the little screen next to the lens where you can see yourself always during vlogging.
Action shots are now getting better and better with the DJI Osmo Action and the GoPro Hero 7 because of their electronic image stabilization. Everything looks just so amazing on these two cameras. With the possibility to shoot in 240fps you can also get insane slow motion shots with the DJI Osmo Action and the GoPro Hero 7.

4. Video Check
A really important thing in my opinion, is checking your videos after you got your shots. Only like that you know if you nailed your shot or not. The DJI Osmo Action has a bigger screen than the GoPro Hero 7. This makes checking the details in your videos easier. However, there is a little minus point for the Osmo Action, which I mention in the video.

5. Taking Pictures
The GoPro Hero 7 is really slow taking pictures in JPEG and RAW format. If the DJI Osmo Action is as slow as the GoPro Hero 7 you will find out watching the video.

6. SD Cards
Taking out the SD Cards is complicated on both cameras. That’s complaining on a high level, but one camera outperformed the other in this point. However, that’s only a small thing and I can live with that without any problems.
