Volcano blows up

Raging volcano as seen from Stórihrútur. Filmed by me, May 2, 2021. Last night I completed the 8 Volcano trip. Now volcano acts differently. It acts in a way similiar to geyser exploding every 5 minutes or so. Then lava sinks back into crater and volcano calms down. The exploding episodes start from constantly increasing lava boilup. Some episodes are very powerful shooting lava 200 meters above the volcano accompanied by powerful humming noise compared to those of a plane that takes off with much trembling and earth shaking. No new vents. No other craters are active. Tons of fascinating footages coming today and tomorrow.
