This Video is prepared to have a basic idea of probability distribution when random variable is discrete. During the discussion linkage of probability distribution is developed with frequency distribution.
If we have a set of values with probability of each value in such a way that total probability of all values comes to one then set of values are called value of random variable. The phenomenon which is represented by the values is named as random variable. We know that if a phenomenon is taking different value with certain frequency (may distinct also) then it called variable.
Hence a variable having probability of occurrence of its values (range of value also) is called random variable.
