US envoy urges Moscow to not break ties over Ukraine War; 'Don't shut Russian embassy in Washington'
The US envoy to Moscow was quoted saying that Russia should not close the U.S. embassy despite the Ukraine war. The U.S. ambassador John J. Sullivan was appointed by former President Donald Trump. U.S. Ambassador to Moscow: The world's two biggest nuclear powers must continue to talk. As I understand it, the Russian government has mentioned the variant of severing diplomatic relations," he said.
