DIY Box Threading Jig

I wanted to add threaded lids to some of the boxes and other items I like to turn on an old Shop Smith lathe. The problem was that chasing threads typically requires a machine that can go slow; thread chasing is usually done between 300 and 500 revolutions per minute. My old Shop Smith couldn't come down that far (the lowest setting is about 700). So I made a jig that uses a 60 degree double angle cutter with a Jacobs chuck and an adjustable sled. It works pretty well. Here is a simple pine box with a threaded lid made out of 2x4 scraps. Thanks for taking a look.
