Freewing 64mm F-22 Raptor with XFly 4s 3200kv EDF Maiden Flight Video

2 years later I finally maiden flew the Freewing 64mm F-22 Raptor. I brought it out a few times last summer but was afraid to fly it due to the amount of time I spent on this custom build. She was too pretty to crash it on the first flight. This summer I've maiden flown 6 other planes and jets and figured it was time to throw this bird up. I think she could use a little more fine tuning which I will do the next time I fly. I also decided to buy a few of the SMC 2400mah 15.2V Lihv high voltage packs to put in this jet, as well as my new FMS F-16 Fighting Falcon. I'm also removing the afterburner system. It just added some weight and the LED module attached to the back of the EDF blocked airflow. The next flight should be much faster. I'll post another video once I get it dialed in.

1. X-Fly 64mm 4s 3200kv EDF (Very well built EDFs. I have a lot of 50mm and 64mm Xflys in my jets. They are very powerful but they suck the juice out of the batteries. So fast speeds and short flight times)
2. Skywalker 60A ESC
3. 2200mah 4s 75C LiperiAir Lipo
4. ESC timing set to high: 64.8 Peaks amps, 1,000.3 peak watts, 14.81 voltage minimum at full throttle
5. ESC timing set to low: 61.79 Peak amps 963.3 peak watts, 15.07 voltage minimum at full throttle
