Back In Charge, On Narrowboat 'Aslan'

It's literally a matter of days before Aslan is lifted out of Garstang Marina and placed on the hardstanding for a week - where she'll be pressure washed and re-blacked.

In readiness, I've spent the last week fitting a new Victron BlueSmart battery charger, as well as a Victron Duo Solar Controller.

I've also changed Aslan's H4 Halogen tunnel light bulb, to an H4 LED type - much brighter and consumes mere milliamps.

Also much to my relief and joy, I have at long last solved a 3 year charging mystery, by fitting a new alternator. Aslan can now charge her batteries, whilst on the move.

Finally (and for the last time) I open some more viewers gifts - one of which is from a previous 'mystery' contributor.
