For Andrea Marie Morin life in Kirksville was just like that of any other middle and high school girl – sports, friends, visits to the beach. Now 28 and living in Columbia, she says she knew in some way she was sick since she was a kid, but at that time it wasn't stopping her from planning her next steps in school.
