You have no idea how GRATEFUL I am for all of you who support me. Every listening, every like, comment and share means the world to me and I can totally say that we are building an amazing community in here!

In this video I’ve decided to introduce myself properly for the first time.
I’m 23 years old, I live in Israel and I make covers of songs that I love. I began singing when I was 8 and then at 10 I began playing the guitar. For many years I had this unspoken dream of being a singer-songwriter, and it always seemed like an impossible thing for me because I didn’t believe in myself.

I was a very shy girl, I had no self confidence, until I began to overcome my fears by posting videos of mine on facebook which got a lot of good comments from people who told me I should keep it going. I remember myself being really awkward in the videos and didn’t even know how to react to all the compliments I got.

And today, after years of HARD WORK: practicing my vocals, learning how to edit videos and building my self-confidence in general, I’m standing here in front of you and performing my covers and showing you my voice which felt so impossible at that time.

I almost completely gave up on my dream, until I realized that it doesn’t matter how many people believe or do not believe in you, because if YOU don’t believe in yourself, then it’s never gonna work.

So I really just wanted to say thank you for your support, I can’t even put in words of how thankful I am, and eventually, I truly believe that with your help I can make my dream come true and eventually make my own music for living, performing on stages and share all the music and this amazing journey with you.

Also I wanted to try something a bit different in this video that connects to overcoming fear, I’m standing up and not sitting down as usual because I have a big fear of performing on stages, standing. When I have to perform on a stage I get so insecure: I shake, my heart beats so fast and I get really nervous. It takes me a while to loosen up, so by standing up right in front of the camera I hoped to practice my whole performance and deal with my insecurity and fear.

But it didn’t go so well for me, it was so hard guys. It took me two nights to shoot this video, I couldn’t make the song properly, standing up was hard and I got really tired. My legs and lower back hurt so much I had to take multiple breaks.

At the first night a giant flying cockroach invaded my room and canceled all the shooting in the middle because Chen, my roommate sprayed K300 all over the room, and I had to open the windows. (When I’m shooting I close the windows so there will be less noise from outside). And in the second day I was extremely tired so my performance of the song (in my opinion) wasn’t so good, but I lost every energy for another day of shooting.

But eventually I’m so glad I finished this video and performed this song, and the reason I chose to cover the song Hotel California by Eagles is because it has such magic to it I can’t even explain, every time I listen to it it fills me with these high and great energies and I hope I made you feel the same way In my performance.
