12. Crick Scarecrow & Music Festival 2018

The Crick Scarecrow and Music Festival was held over the weekend of 14th and 15th July. It is a fun event for everybody and was first held in 2009. It involves villagers competing against each other to make the best scarecrows – all different shapes, sizes and themes are on display. There is a treasure trail around the village with plenty to see and do - craft stalls, hot food, licensed bar, amusements and live music, with funds raised going to local charities.

I walked there from the Marina on Saturday 14th July, partly following the canal but also taking a short cut across country.
